Sean Bollettieri-Abdali is owner of the world’s largest private pickleball club and elite tennis academy, The Tennis & Pickleball Club at Newport Beach (TTC). Mitch Junkins President/CEO of CDM Companies, is an active member and pickleball player at TTC, which played a significant role in his entry into the pickleball industry.
According to Junkins,“During the pandemic, we embarked on a mission to engineer the first pickleball paddle that is edgeless and wrapped 360° in four layers of carbon, resulting in the launch of Veloz. We also designed a line of fashion-forward paddles utilizing high-grade carbon fiber under the name Fre’Bird Pickleball.”
“TTC aptly represents the legacy behind our brand. As members, Newport Beach is where we first tested and launched the paddle. Today, Veloz performance paddles are sold through their Pro Shop. We are delighted to partner in their continued success, as court sponsors and in the development of a custom TTC paddle that will be announced shortly, “ Junkins said. “We are especially pleased to be associated with TTC’s altruistic mission to give back, through the hosting of over 60 charity events each year.”
CDM Companies represent a diverse group of companies that conceptualize, design and manufacture promotional, OEM and retail products. CDM holds 15 patents, has produced over 1.5 billion products and created 2,500 entertainment and celebrity promotions over the past 32 years.
